La Música

La música es ese abrazo al alma que nada ni nadie más te pueden dar.

Es la invitación a llenar de amor los huecos que quedaron en tí sin visitar…

Aquel líquido magnético que reactiva y electrifica tus entrañas vacías…

La música es una compañera leal cuando todos los demás se han ido y sólo ha quedado ella para permear tus días.

Es la puerta a la alegría sublime que reta la gravedad de la tierra y nos eleva, nos vuelve etéreos y sublimes y nos permite visitar los paisajes fantásticos que nunca imaginamos existirían.

A veces es simplemente el momento en que tu espíritu pulsa una pausa, detiene el tiempo y grita ¡basta!

Sólo para quedarse suspendida en un momento eterno de silencio mental, para protegerse del ruido que crean las complejidades de la vida.

La voz que canta es la voz que nadie, nunca, podrá volver a silenciar.

Es el quejido salvaje y primitivo de una bestia que nadie ha de domar y que lucha por su libertad; también es el canto delicado y refinado de los entes etéreos que oscilan entre las nubes y la mar.

La música es la energía de la vida que baila.

La música es matemática cristalizada, imaginación acústica, sabiduría abstracta… El palpitar de la creatividad, manifestación sónica de la intuición, emoción visionaria, un remedio parchado del pasado que no te gustó o al cual te haz quedado atado… O quizás una apuesta a lo que ha de venir, a lo que tercamente decides ignorar que no ha de ser ni de existir, más que solamente ahí…

El oasis del hambriento náufrago que sólo su alma pudo salvar. El escudo del soldado que sin pedir tregua no se dejó derrotar…

Música: solo tú puedes ser al mismo tiempo, un grito de guerra y un laurel de paz.

During these troubled times, where calm comes after so much pain and despair, a rendition of Raga Bhairavi seemed appropriate as it evokes a feeling that is hard to name…

A delicate blend of longing, surrender, and peace.

It is like the quiet after tears,
when the storm of sorrow has passed,
and all that remains is a soft ache —
not painful, but profound.

Bhairavi does not shout or demand;
she whispers, like a mother humming a lullaby
for a child who has cried themselves to sleep.

There’s melancholy, yes — but it’s sweet.
It’s the kind of sadness that doesn’t crush you
it lifts you, teaches you to let go,
and reminds you that beauty and pain
often live side by side.

She feels like the earth after rain —
moist, fragrant, still.
Like the memory of someone you loved,
returning in a dream —
not to hurt you, but to comfort you.

Bhairavi is not just music.
She is acceptance.
She is the grace in grief,
the light in the closing of day,
the quiet truth at the end of a journey.

To be performed by Aura Rascón on traverse flute accompanied by virtuos tabla player Shabbir Hussain.
