It has been a privilege and an honour to work over the past few days with Professor Antonio Puente, a pioneering neuropsychologist, on a project in Denmark and Serbia. His work has significantly expanded the understanding of psychology by integrating cultural and linguistic diversity into neuropsychological assessments.
It was fascinating to observe how the two of us, coming from different cultural backgrounds, sometimes interpreted the same questions in tests in different ways—and even understood the subjects’ responses differently. This experience clearly highlights how important it is, in today’s multicultural world, to make a conscious effort to see things from another person’s perspective.

Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck in “always on” mode?
Autogenic Training is a scientifically proven relaxation method that helps you reset your nervous system, reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and enhance focus. Through a simple, guided set of mental exercises, you’ll learn how to calm your body and mind – anytime, anywhere. It’s like giving your brain and body a gentle reset button, and it takes just a few minutes a day.
In this course, we’ll explore a modern form of Autogenic Training, enriched with elements from ACT, Mindfulness, and CBT, while also diving into psychology and other mental health topics. Autogenic Training is recommended for:
· People who are stressed, overworked, and at risk of or already experiencing burnout
· Anxiety
· Mental health professionals, both in their work with clients and for personal grounding to prevent burnout and rest between sessions
· People suffering from chronic tension
· Prevention or treatment of psychosomatic illnesses
· High blood pressure (Autogenic Training was recommended in the 2016 European Society of Cardiology Guidelines for the prevention of cardiovascular disease in those facing psychosocial problems)
· Professional athletes, especially those requiring deep concentration and prolonged focus (e.g., diving, tennis)
· Students and employees managing heavy workloads or exam periods
· All stress-related issues
· Healthy individuals looking to enhance concentration, relaxation, creativity, imagination, fitness levels, and overall productivity
Meetings are online. We will have nine sessions, one per week, each lasting one hour (for a total of nine weeks). Groups are small and interactive. You’ll receive a recording after each session.
