World championships Singapore 2025 done and dusted. What a worlds this was, 2 silver medals, with a lot of happy tears. This tournament was not just joy because of medals but also in my own process as a swimmer. I wasn’t able to defend that beautiful world title from 2023, but I am not sad about it I needed to come from far to even be close to that winning time from Egor Bolotov. To swim a 58 high while your best time is a 59,4 is quite a lot but to be able to drop 0,1 of my pb after 2 years means a lot for me. 2 years of frustration, 2 years of just swimming around that 1 minute mark but never under it. It’s a small step but with big impact on me mentally and I can’t wait to see where this leads me further into the future 😮‍💨
