One part of the Ro Heilbron Project is restoring two murals by Ro Heilbron himself.

He painted these murals around 1976 and are still visible on the in de Voorburgstraat in Rotterdam. One represents the unique mix of cultures in Surinam by picturing eight women with traditional clothing. The other mural is a maroon house. They are part of Ro Heilbron’s roots.
