Bloemhof Festival komt er aan! En wij doen mee met een workshop afkoppelkunst!
De eerste editie van Bloemhof Festival vindt plaats op zaterdagmiddag 18 juni. Heel Bloemhof (en de buren) zijn uitgenodigd voor dit kleurrijke zomerfestival, vol met muziek, lekker eten, workshops voor kinderen, een stoepkrijtwedstrijd en al het moois dat de wijk te bieden heeft. Op één van de mooiste en groenste pleinen van onze wijk: het Putseplein, temidden van basisscholen de Sleutel en de Oranjeschool, SKAR, stichting Birlik, Mandir en het Wijkpastoraat.
Verschillende partijen uit de wijk slaan de handen inéén en organiseren dit festival in en voor Bloemhof! Neem voor alle deelnemers een kijkje op de flyer in de bijlage en ga voor meer info naar www.bloemhof.org

Studio Bas Sala presents Cloud City:
An interactive 3d printed model about smart cities.
Welcome to the future!
A smart city based on AI systems collects data about a city’s infrastructure and its people. The goal is to improve city functions, efficiency and city life.
In a smart city all the data comes together and is processed in one place represented by the data center in the model.
Using machine learning, findings and solutions are formulated intending to optimize the city. But according to which ideal? In the model we present the relationship between four themes: smart systems, smart mobility, smart surveillance and smart environment.

Studio Bas Sala developed the model from scratch - from the first concept to the production of the model.
The model is part of the Artificial Intelligence exhibition at the DASA Dortmund, Germany. The exhibition is on display until 9-8-22.
The exhibition will be traveling Europe the coming years and will be showcased in Technisches Museum Wien (Austria), Tekniska museet Stockholm (Sweden) and the Parque de las Ciencias in Granada (Spain).
For 3d printing we use Prusa Research printers, RaiseCloud platform and Octopi by Gina Häußge.

Daar is ie dan! De Cloiq. 🎉De circulaire 3d geprinte slimme regenton van Rotterdams plastic.
Meer dan 100 deelnemers uit Rotterdam Noord hebben maandenlang zorgvuldig het juiste plastic schoon bij ons ingeleverd. Daarna is dit plastic versnipperd bij Community Plastics zodat The New Raw van deze grondstof onze prototypes kon printen (3D). Tot slot plaatsen we de wolken terug in de wijk waar het plastic verzameld is. Zo is de cirkel rond.
De wolk regent om te irrigeren tijdens droogte en is leeg voor de piekbui valt. Alles volautomatisch aangestuurd via internet. 🌧 Zo ontlasten we het riool en maken we de stad groener.
Voordat deze teruggaat naar Rotterdam Noord presenteren we hem op de Dutch Design Week. Op het Ketelhuisplein.
