Urban Reef is looking for interns!

Do you want to contribute to the regenerative city of the future? Do you have a background in material science, ecology, engineering, design or marketing? Then this is your chance!

From September 2026 to January 2027, we are offering the following internships:

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 / 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆
Contribute to the development of bioreceptive materials based on low-carbon mineral binders and geo-based aggregates.

𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆/𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆
Explore the ecological potential of facades in urban environments, help translate these insights into design principles and collaborate with material design on bioreceptivity.

(𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹/𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰) 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴
Join the development of a new large scale 3D print extruder.

𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Help map new markets and opportunities, support client and partner outreach, contribute to trade fair preparation and communication.

An internship at Urban Reef means working in a small, hands-on team with a lot of freedom and space for your own initiative. We do expect a high degree of independence and the ability to be physically present at our office in Rotterdam on a regular basis.
