Joint Statement on the EPBD Recast! 📢 👇

On Tuesday 12th of March, the European Parliament, in its plenary session in Strasbourg, adopted with 370 positive votes, 199 negative votes and 46 abstentions the recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive ( ). Seventeen European associations signed together with REHVA the following joint statement.

Exciting news from REHVA! 🙌

REHVA just launched the "REHVA EU Policy Advocacy Group" ( )! The group had its inaugural meeting with the primary aim of amplifying REHVA's influence on EU policies, including the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive ( ) and the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation ( ). 🌍 🏡

✔ The kick-off meeting focused on outlining and consensus-building on to enhance the effectiveness of REHVA's advocacy efforts. The event saw participation from 26 colleagues from REHVA Member Associations and REHVA Supporters, all by a to work . The group’s is to forge and unified REHVA messages, and sharing them across , , and regional levels through REHVA Member Associations.

The Smart Readiness Indicator Joint Event will provide a unique opportunity to discuss the of . In-person participants will have the chance to explore an exhibition showcasing projects funded by the and programs throughout the day.
