Hi everyone,

Since I’ve decided to return to my greatest passion, I thought it would be fitting to dedicate this post as a small introduction to the face behind all these photos.

My name is Demi. I’m 26 years old and I live with my boyfriend in Rijssen (The Netherlands). I’ve loved photography ever since I got to use my mom’s Nokia, which had a tiny camera with true “potato quality.” I remember taking pictures of everything I found interesting, and whenever the storage was full, I had to make the difficult decision to delete my least favorite photos so I could keep taking new ones. This all started when I was around 10 years old.

Fast forward to 2016: I received my first digital camera as a 16th birthday present from my parents (I still have it!). That same year I started photography school and graduated in 2020. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn about and experience different kinds of photography, but I found the most joy in portrait and fashion photography.

Fashion has always been my biggest interest, and I can’t think of anything better for me to capture. Besides fashion, I’ve also had the pleasure of working with many different people—models and creatives—and I love capturing their beauty and their stories while giving them confidence as I photograph their portraits. Seeing the person in front of me shine and be their most beautiful self is what brings me the most joy behind the camera.
