Usually I am not the person who posts or pays attention to 'things like this’. But this time, I want to pause for a moment.

6 years ago I started taking pictures with always the goal of one day being a part in a Gymkhana production.
Every post from Hoonigan, Brian Scotto, Hert, Larry Chen Photo and definitely Ken Block inspired me to keep going to make this a reality someday.

In 2018, I went to Motorshow Essen for the first time, where one of the Gymkhana cars was on display. Not the Hoonicorn, but the Ford Fiesta RX43. If I dig deep I will still have photos of this somewhere. But wanted to use for this post perhaps the most iconic car I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in real life.

In recent years more icons have sadly come to pass, but when I heard that Ken Block passed away today in a snowmobile accident it hit me a little harder.

Ken Block, thank you for inspiring not only me. But so many others.
