IRIO Programme Committee
Dear students,
Between Monday, the 4th of September and Tuesday, the 12th of September (12h) elections will be held to determine the new student members of the IRIO Programme Committee. Every IRIO student has the right to stand for election themselves. It is the Programme Committee’s task to monitor and improve the quality of both the IRIO Bachelor and Master degree programmes. Therefore, the Committee consists of six students (both BA and MA students) and six staff members of the IRIO department, who jointly discuss issues relevant to the BA and MA programmes and suggest improvements. The main responsibilities of the Programme Committee are:
-To issue advice on the Teaching and Examination Regulations (OER);
-to assess the implementation of these regulations and recent changes to the OER;
-to issue solicited and unsolicited advice to the Faculty Board and/or the Director of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies concerning all matters to do with teaching in the degree programme.
If you are interested in becoming a student member of the IRIO Programme Committee, you can apply by sending an email to [email protected] before Tuesday, the 12th of September (12h). In your application please include a very short essay (max. 200 words), explaining why you are a suitable member for the Committee.
If you have any questions regarding the elections, the position of student member or the Programme Committee in general, please do not hesitate to get in touch via our above-mentioned email address or Facebook. We hope that many of you will use their right to pose their candidature!
