When I graduated from school, I continued my education at the best university of Russia (Moscow State University). I studied Political Psychology and Sociology.
During my studies there, I was having a lot of classes in Philosophy. I can't say that I enjoyed it very much at that time but now I feel very special that I carry this knowledge. I think I didn't enjoy it because I couldn't imagine where I could apply this knowledge.
When I started writing content, I started seeing the connection between Philosophy, Psychology and the content.
Today, I read a blog post from Animals. They wrote about using Dialectic to strengthen ideas in copywriting. They advise to use the special process to create inevitability when writing a copy: Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis.
Thesis: you present the status quo, the viewpoint that is currently accepted and widely held.
Antithesis: Articulate the problems with the thesis.
Synthesis: Share a viewpoint (a modified thesis) that resolves the problems.
This structure can be used while writing newsletters. It instantly captures attention. It did capture my attention despite my endless to-do list!
