Founder and co-director of SPACEBAR, artist Kees de Groot, is opening an exhibition with bookpresentation about his Archives x PLANETART 1978-2004 in the Rijksmuseum Twenthe this friday Aug.16, 14.45-17 h. Visitors of this opening in the Rijksmuseum are invited for a private afterparty hosted by the SPACEBAR crew, and DJ’s Mikkii, Daniel B, Special FX, Rooie Biet, DJ Draft.

After a series of unforgettable events, break-out returns to our humble spaceship to unleash the finest Drum and Bass in the east. For their May edition, they are inviting Tempo label boss Frodo for an extended set. Also on the bill: some of Enschede's hottest talent.

SATURDAY 25/05: CLUB NIGHT + ONDERSTROOM TAKEOVER

This Saturday, we present you some bangin' acid techno on the main stage with some local faces. Meanwhile, Onderstroom takes over the backroom. Onderstroom is an eclectic initiative supporting electronic music in all its forms and aims to spotlight the undercurrent of the scene. 🍋⚡️

Last week, we celebrated Dion Vluggen’s last day as Bar Manager of Spacebar. During the last three years, Dion has consistently brought his unique charm and warm personality to the space, making him a vital member of our community.

Dion will be moving on to focus on his music career as the bassist in ! We wish him all the best on his path!

If you miss him, don’t worry! You might catch him DJ-ing some wicked techno as Dønnie with .denachtapotheek, or having a drink on the other side of the bar for a change :)
