Ben jij een FLINTA-producer of muzikant en ligt er een track van jou op je laptop te wachten om gehoord te worden? Dit is je kans! Tijdens Plug & Play op zondag 21 juni organiseren we een Luister sessie.

Hoe werkt het?
Heel simpel: we pluggen je USB-stick in en luisteren samen naar jouw werk op een écht soundsystem.

Of het nu gaat om een volledig gepolijste track die bíjna op Spotify staat, of een ruwe loop van 30 seconden waar je in vastloopt; alle genres en alle niveaus zijn welkom. We zijn er om te sparren, elkaar feedback te geven en te leren van elkaars creatieve proces. Een veilige plek om te delen en te groeien!

Are you a FLINTA producer or musician, and do you have music waiting on your laptop to be heard? This is your moment! During Plug & Play on Sunday, June 21st, we are hosting a Listening Session.

How does it work?
It’s simple: we plug in your USB drive and listen to your work together on a proper soundsystem.

Whether it’s a fully polished track that’s this close to being finished, or a rough 30-second loop you’re stuck on; all genres and all experience levels are welcome. We’re here to brainstorm, give feedback, and learn from each other’s creative process. A safe space to share and grow!

Plug & Play is a collaboration by The FemDem, Femxle Frontier, and Sickhouse.

At this year’s U? community festival by Le Guess Who?, The FemDem had the chance to curate a day programme centered on Fem+ creators. The line-up brought together a panel on rest as resistance, two deep listening sets, and a producer workshop designed to share practice, process, and space for exchange.

Working with the LGW team was genuinely energising. Their bold approach to programming and their sensitivity to social dynamics created the right conditions for meaningful collaboration. The day also opened up new relationships both within and beyond our existing network: from connecting with local Utrecht DJs and producers, to meeting LnHD & rEmPiT g0dDe$$, who run Align.online. These individual connections are an important part of how our community continues to grow.

We’re grateful to the LGW team, all participating artists, and Ableton for supporting the workshop. Moments like these show what becomes possible when festivals actively make room for new perspectives and talent that often stays out of sight.
