Microlab Academy

Since many Microlab Eindhoven members are working from home, our own team members are using this time to develop their skills. During the first ‘lockdown’ they all followed online workshops via Udemy.

Today Amy Bakermans and Isa Nooten joined one of our own courses from the Microlab Academy. They successfully completed the “Welding for beginners” course thanks to Benny!

The film Khata made by Aiman Hassani, has had screenings at many film festivals. With co-host wedowe, we are proud to announce that this film will be shown on Wednesday the 28th of October at Microlab.

What is the film about?
The dreamy and gentle adolescent Kamal works with his older brother Hatim as a boy pr******te on and around Rotterdam Central Station. The parents of the brothers think they just hang out with friends on the street and undertake teen activities. When Kamal falls in love with a male customer, the situation seems to escalate completely. Will the brothers be able to escape the oppressive world of boy prostitution?
