🚗 A successful English course completed at Van Hooff BMW!

We’ve just wrapped up a dynamic and high-energy English training at the BMW Van Hooff dealership in Veldhoven, and what a fantastic journey it has been!

Over the past weeks, participants from different departments came together to build their confidence and communication skills in English, with a strong focus on real-life dealership situations. From BMW Group-specific terminology, Neue Klasse model and special features to client conversations, emails and phone calls, every session was designed to be practical, relevant, and immediately applicable on the job.

What made this course truly stand out?

The sessions were packed with activities and rich in tailor-made content, keeping participants engaged and actively using the language from start to finish while still leaving room for a lot of positive energy, teamwork, and fun throughout the entire course.

Vluchtelingenteam speelt pannen van het dak!

Te midden van de gepolariseerde berichtgeving over asielzoekers en vluchtelingen viel ons oog op een bijzonder sportkampioenschap, vermeld in een artikel in de PZC over een vluchtelingenteam van voetbalvereniging SSV'65 uit Goes (team SSV'65 19-2) dat afgelopen weekend het kampioenschap heeft behaald in de reguliere competitie.

Wat begon als een uniek initiatief om jonge vluchtelingen uit de opvang structuur en afleiding te bieden, is uitgegroeid tot een groot succes. Het team draait inmiddels volledig mee in de KNVB-competitie en is onlangs kampioen geworden.

In het artikel staat dat ze door het voetbal weer de positieve kanten van het leven zijn gaan inzien. Een medewerker van het Centraal Orgaan opvang asielzoekers (COA) vertelt: "De jongens kunnen door het voetbal alle ellende even vergeten en weer kind zijn.”
