TWOFIFTYK

Eight large broadcast screens facing each other, rotating as one system.

For this year’s DGTL Festival, we were asked by and to create an interactive canvas for six emerging female talents to build their audiovisual shows around.

Together, we developed an installation made from eight rotating screens, each measuring 4 by 5 meters. Four screens on each side, moving in sync. What made the project unique to us was the integration between the content and the physical movement of the screens.

In between performances, the installation shifted into a 9-minute “reset” moment. We created a visual layer where the content interacted with the movement of the crowd passing by the screens.

These type of screens have been used before, but seeing objects of this scale rotating live as part of a show created something entirely different and that’s what made this project special to us.
