Tja Ling

During the two-week Urban Blue artist-in-residence, a collaboration between and , I had the chance to explore the history of Delft Blue together with five other amazing artists from around the world: .id

Inspired by the Delft Blue story we each designed and created a tile panel that will only reveal its final blue tones after firing. The results will be shown next year, including some extra 3D objects, with an opening on March 7 at the Royal Delft Museum. I can’t wait to see the piece in blue!

I’m grateful I could bring my family, allowing me to continue my work while also being present as a mother. It was intense, but above all incredibly special that it was possible.
