Last week we ended our California trip with a special flight demonstration for friends and family at the Patriots Jet Team hangar. We couldn’t have imagined a better way to end the USA adventure of Silverwing!

New week new beginning!
We spent the weekend preparing our aircraft for our first untethered flight. Making several modifications and polishing our safety and preflight checklists. As the fly-off date approaches stay-tuned for some major news and exciting updates.

While the controls department was busy fine-tuning the S1 there was some time for other team members to explore the Bay Area countryside. Less than a 30 minutes’ drive from our testing location they escaped the city life to hike to the 2500 ft summit of Mission Peak.
