Every student has a say in their education. The embodiment of this right is the Faculty Student Council (FSC): a council for and by students, which actively ensures that the student's voice is heard. By the right of consent, the right of advice and the right of initiative, we aim to best represent this voice.

At the start of each academic year, the FSC defines their objectives and focus points of their council year. We start listening to the students by gathering feedback and staying in active conversation with them about their thoughts on the education and the faculty.
At the same time, the FSC starts to gain a better understanding and insight into the faculty's complex field of decision making. It allows us to best analyse and form both our own objectives, but also give written advice on initiatives and the policy of the faculty.

The current pandemic keeps us on our toes as it progresses and gives us new challenges to face. Although our future is slowly moving away from a mostly digital university towards on campus education, the dynamic has irrevocably changed. Both students and staff alike are making their way through this new found balance as the world is slowly opening up.

As the FSC, we aim to help students navigate the faculty and through their studies in order to get the best experience possible as well as constantly being challenged to be the best they can. By providing skill workshops, such as presentation training, students can make the most of their projects and gain a useful skill in life.
