🚴‍♀️𝐆𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞(𝐬): 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 🚴‍♀️ Last Saturday, 35 Allseas colleagues jumped on their bikes and took on the hills of the 𝐀𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 in Limburg. Most of the group went for the tough 𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐤𝐦 ride, while a few brave souls decided to raise the bar (and heart rate❤️) and powered through the full 𝟐𝟒𝟎 𝐤𝐦.💥 Legs were burning, climbs felt longer than ever but personal records were smashed left and right, from faster climbs to new highs in distance and elevation.👏

What really made the day though, was the team spirit. 𝐏𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 on the climbs, backing each other when it got tough and crossing the finish line with plenty of encouragement. Proof that at Allseas, 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞, we happily cycle a few extra ones too! 💪

Allseas has been taking part in the Amstel Gold Race for many years, and this edition once again showed the 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 within our large and enthusiastic cycling team. Throughout the year, our riders regularly line up for races like these, driven by a 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲.🏆

A great ride, even 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 and enough stories to keep the post-race café rides alive for years to come.🚴‍♀️✨

𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐬 🚶⚓ Over the past three Saturdays, we turned 𝘗𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 into a “bring your family and friends to work” venue. In February and March, colleagues proudly brought their loved ones on board for exclusive tours. A rare chance to show where we work, what we create, and where some of the world’s most advanced offshore engineering comes to life. And yes… to climb a respectable number of staircases.

💙 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝑷𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠. Colleagues became tour guides for a day: sharing stories, pointing out favourite spots, explaining how our unique technology works, and answering every question thrown their way. Each group brought fresh curiosity and plenty of creative theories about just how big “big” really is.

The tours gave our guests a rare look at the factory area, including the massive systems that enable our lift and pipelay operations. It’s innovation you can feel under your feet.

𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 Jeroen Rikken, 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐑&𝐃 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫: “It was great to see how much interest there was from colleagues and their guests, from technical questions to what life on board is like. Normally, this is quite a closed environment, so I think many guests were surprised by how much openness we were able to offer.”
