Op deze Gelderse akker groeit een alternatief voor de voortrazende mode-industrie Om iets te veranderen aan de systeemrot in de mode-industrie moeten we af van de focus op geld en winst, ervoer modeontwerper Pascale Gatzen. Op een vlasakker nabij Arnhem onderzoekt ze met een team hoe zo’n alternatief model, waarbij het welzijn van mens en planeet vooropstaat, eruit kan zien.

FORMLESS is a cyclical, looping movement and sound pattern crafted anew daily. It addresses surrender as a staying with, a choice and a commitment. Based upon a daily practice, the process takes returning to movement and seeks a soft yet assertive bodily presence that advocates for an ownership within the process. The movement works with an emergent soundscape created live and held within a fixed form. Performers share a mutual reciprocity, investigating a nuanced approach to agency as the movement and sound meet.

The students of a Master Program Practice Held in Common will organize an exhibition from the 30th of June till the 3rd of July, 2022.
The exhibition will be a showcase of their final works, individual and collaborative projects as well as a shared space for interactive workshops and performances.
It is a public open event therefore anyone interested in visiting their exhibition is very welcome!

Linnen Kavels pre-order and introduction days

In recent months, linen yarn produced from biodynamic flax locally grown by The Linen Project has been woven into linen textiles at local weaving mill Enschede Textielstad. With the sale of the Linnen Kavels, we are looking for enthusiastic and engaged citizens and producers who want to join us in committing to a generative and transparent textile value chain in the Netherlands.
During the pre-order and introduction days, potential partners and interested parties can take the textiles into their own hands and experience the qualities we offer. Orders can be placed from one to a maximum of 10 Linnen Kavels per order – one Linnen Kavel consists of five running metres of fabric. We will share insight into the different processes behind the project and the realisation of the textiles.

Linnen Kavels voorverkoop- en kennismakingsdagen
De afgelopen maanden werd lokaal geteeld biologisch dynamisch vlas van The Linen Project tot linnen geweven bij Enschede Textielstad. Met de verkoop van de Linnen Kavels zijn we op zoek naar enthousiaste, betrokken burgers en bedrijven die zich met ons willen engageren voor een generatieve en transparante textiel waardeketen in Nederland.
Tijdens deze voorverkoop- en kennismakingsdagen kunnen potentiële partners en geïnteresseerden het textiel ter hand nemen en de kwaliteiten die we aanbieden ervaren. Bestellen kan al vanaf 1 tot maximaal 10 Linnen Kavels per order – een Linnen Kavel telt 5 strekkende meter doek. We vertellen daarbij meer over de verschillende processen die ten grondslag liggen aan het project en het tot stand komen van het textiel.
