There is something profoundly powerful that happens when a woman chooses to meet birth again.

I completed a journey with a couple who came to me carrying the imprint of a first birth that did not feel gentle, not held, not theirs.
There was hesitation in the beginning. Questions, doubts, a quiet guarding of the heart.
And yet beneath it all, a deep longing:
“This time, we want it to feel different.”

I witnessed her soften, and then rise.
From uncertainty into clarity.
From tension into trust.
From bracing into opening.
To hear her say:
“I’m actually excited. I’m looking forward to it.”
This is everything.

Because birth is not only about the moment a baby arrives.
It is about a woman embodying her power.
A man stepping fully into presence.
A couple choosing to become conscious creators of their experience.

Her confidence.
His devotion to truly understanding how to support her.
Their willingness to take ownership of their birth.
This is how we change stories.
This is how we change generations.

Tears.
Pure, overwhelming, heart-expanding tears.
Because this is why I do this work.

Because ease is possible.
Because healing is possible.
Because a second birth can become a completely new story.
