1. From Dutch train stations to the world, .festival goes global. This curated showcase of motion design, founded by Studio Dumbar/DEPT®, transforms public screens into design platforms. After a successful run in the Netherlands, it now steps onto an international stage.
2. A striking statement from : player Giulia Orlandi wore her CV on her shirt to spotlight the challenges female footballers face after their careers end. A bold visual move that speaks volumes about inequality in sports.
3. For the first time in 10 years, Google refreshed its iconic “G” logo. The new gradient design is reminiscent of Google’s logo, aligning its identity more closely across products.

Things that make us think • Shaping a brighter tomorrow requires an open mind and insight into what is going on in our industry. We gladly share what inspires us. This week is all about function with a twist.
1. The Hygiene Bank highlighted hygiene poverty in the UK with an edible soap that tastes like beans on toast. Created with The Goodwash Company and Swansea University, the stunt illustrates how 5.3 million adults are forced by circumstance to choose between food or hygiene.
2. On King’s Day, a typically Dutch problem gets a typically Dutch solution. HEMA – the iconic variety store – addressed the toilet shortage, especially for women, with a DIY home toilet kit. Complete with signage and a shared Google Map, it’s clever, useful with a strong social insight.
3. To celebrate Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, artist Alex Fischer designed custom manhole covers that honour the city’s history and identity. A utilitarian object reimagined as urban tribute.

Achmea Real Estate • For , a green and future focused housing project in Breda with a mix of mid-market and private rentals, Sinc was asked to lay the foundation and shape the project’s identity and marketing.
Our goal is to help turn this building into a place people can call home. We started with positioning, brand identity, web design, copy and social campaigns. Each element was created to reflect Sierra’s values: sustainable, accessible and designed for everyday life.
We’re already working on the next phase, so stay tuned for more Sierra updates!
