REQUIEM FOR A DRAGON — , joined by , , & .tefjoosten, whisked us all away for an enchanting and enthralling 14th edition of Dox Under The Tracks (DUTT). Yesterday marked three years of this beautiful tradition with !
Fabio, Pedro, Jelle & Stef played pieces from Fabio’s latest release ’Requiem For A Dragon’ and .tinney recorded the performance directly to tape on an old TASCAM Portastudio! We can’t wait to hear it!
Before & after the set we grooved to deep cuts from of ! We had our best setup for sound this go ‘round and Javier’s selections set the perfect mood for the evening.
DUTT veteran, Ashton from .eu was on hand with a delightful assortment, Abu Salie falafel returned for a 2nd time and, of course, a fridge full of !
We’re grateful for everyone who came out last night, who have joined over the past three years and continue to support Dox Under The Tracks! Stayed tuned for the next edition somewhere in April or so!

BIKE MESSENGER FILM FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS — We’re back in the studio for Episode N°49 of The Mechanics of Joy with Ken & Sarah of the Amsterdam edition of Bike Messenger Film Festival talking bikes, film & community.
Ken Eby-Gomez ( )is a bike messenger, founder of , and zine writer from California currently based in Amsterdam.
His written work focuses on experiences of public space and environments, blending themes of the right to the city and cycling.
In addition to mess work Ken has been a primary school educator, a program coordinator for bike safety and advocacy programs, and been known to make dozens of vegan tamales with homemade salsa.
He is also a dog person, used to skateboard, and drinks too much coffee.
Sarah Teixeira St-Cyr ( .ts ) is a cultural worker, community organizer, and rookie rider based in Amsterdam.
Her work centers on the intersections between socially engaged art, film, and community-building, exploring how culture can foster collective expression and care.
With a background in journalism and curation, she works across both grassroots and institutional contexts, developing programs that bridge artistic practice with community-driven initiatives.
The Bike Messenger Film Festival was founded by Toronto messengers Narada and Mickael, transforming casual living-room movie nights into a decentralized global film festival.
Ken and Sarah are organizing the Amsterdam edition 9 Oct at 19:00 to connect local scenes through film.
Alongside the global BMFF program, the Amsterdam screening will feature the premiere of a film by Utrecht-based friends, and zines that will be sold as a fundraiser for .
