The last couple of months STEIM (amongst others) has been working together with Monobanda for their project ‘Spiegelstem’. This work aims to create a safe and playful space for children and young people to better cope with aggression and feelings of discomfort. The goal is to work towards a working prototype as a tool to translate those feelings, expressed in sound (voice), to a visual expression. A very promising research within art, science and education! Are you ready to listen to the city of Amsterdam in a completely new way? This saturday you can join us (Soundtrackcity, The Mystifiers and Steim) in an audio walk, narrated with quarantine city sounds, reflections and music.

On July 11th at 12:00 we invite you to slow down and focus simply by listening. Put on your walking shoes, step outside, don’t forget your headphones, press play, and join us in a collective, yet individual walk. The content is relatable to any walk, in any place and can also be virtually taken from home.
