Het is alweer April, dus NDSM Vrijhaven staat voor de deur! Naast de kindervrijmarkt zijn er genoeg plekkeb voor een dansje en een drankje! Zomerse vibes: dans op het strand bij , geniet van de beats bij en .ndsm, of ontdek live muziek op verschillende podia.

Een nieuwe blikvanger verschijnt binnenkort op de NDSM-werf: NDSM Giants!
Een drietal acht meter hoge betonnen sculpturen ontworpen door Gabriel Lester () verrijzen op het terrein, bij de 3X3 Legacy Courts naast .ndsm
De monumentale figuren brengen beweging, energie en een nieuw perspectief naar deze plek op de werf.
De officiële opening vindt plaats op 23 april van 17:30 tot 19:30. Vanaf 24 april zijn de NDSM Giants te zien voor publiek. Meer informatie volgt binnenkort.

A new landmark is coming to NDSM Wharf: NDSM Giants, three eight-metre-high sculptures by designer Gabriel Lester (), will rise at the 3X3 Legacy Courts next to .ndsm NDSM.
The monumental figures bring movement, energy and a new perspective to this part of the wharf.
The official opening will take place on 23 April from 17:30 to 19:30. From 24 April, the NDSM Giants will be on view to the public. More information will follow soon.

Vandaag, op Internationale Vrouwendag, kondigen we met trots een nieuw kunstwerk aan op de NDSM-werf. ✊
Vanaf 14 mei 2026 presenteert Stichting NDSM-werf Wish Me Well van : een 7 meter hoog monument voor vrouwenrechten, een sculptuur die hoop, actie en collectieve kracht samenbrengt. De feestelijke opening vindt plaats op 13 mei.
Wish Me Well is een unieke samenwerking met verschillende feministische organisaties, waaronder , Women on Food, S.P.E.A.K., Neighbourhood Feminist, Our Bodies Our Voice, Fite Qlub, Samen naar de Kliniek en COC Amsterdam (more to be announced).
Nog meer kunst op de NDSM van vrouwelijke makers: Schattige babyvoetjes van , de container boog die binnenkort opnieuw wordt geschilderd door Gabi.Brunhoso, NDSM Lusthof van o.a. en Under Pressure van o.a. .

Today, on International Women’s Day, we are proud to announce a new artwork at NDSM Wharf. ✊
From 14 May 2026, Stichting NDSM-werf presents Wish Me Well by Lara Schnitger: a 7-metre-high monument for women’s rights, a sculpture that brings together hope, action and collective strength. The festive opening will take place on 13 May.
Wish Me Well is a unique collaboration with various feminist organisations, including StemOpEenVrouw, Women on Food, S.P.E.A.K., Neighbourhood Feminist, Our Bodies Our Voice, Fite Qlub, Samen naar de Kliniek and COC Amsterdam (more to be announced).
More art at NDSM by female makers includes Schattige babyvoetjes by Lily van der Stokker, the container arch is soon to be repainted by Gabi Brunhoso, NDSM Lusthof by, among others, Alessandra Covini, and Under Pressure by, among others, Caterina Garcia.
Sunny vibes op de NDSM-werf. ☀️
Met de eerste echt zonnige week van het jaar komt de werf weer helemaal tot leven. Bezoekers genieten van de kunstwerken, de ruimte en het uitzicht over het water, precies zoals het bedoeld is.
En goed nieuws: ook dit weekend ziet de weersvoorspelling er prachtig uit. Het perfecte moment voor een wandeling over de NDSM en om alle kunst op de werf te ontdekken.

With the first truly sunny week of the year, the wharf is coming alive again. Visitors are enjoying the artworks, the open space and the views across the water, exactly as it’s meant to be.
And the good news: the forecast for this weekend looks just as lovely. The perfect moment for a walk around NDSM and to discover the art scattered across the wharf.

They Paved Paradise and Put Up a Parking Lot bestaat uit drie werken waarin de auto de hoofdrol speelt, van een gezinswagen op een zwerfkei tot een ingepakt stadsautootje en een toren van gestapelde auto’s die je al vanaf de pont tegemoet straalt. Een speelse, maar scherpe blik op hoe de auto ons landschap én ons dagelijks leven domineert.

They Paved Paradise and Put Up a Parking Lot features three sculptures with the car in the leading role, from a family car balanced on a boulder to a gift-wrapped city car and a towering stack of vehicles greeting you as you step off the ferry. A playful yet critical reflection on how cars shape our landscape and daily lives.

🌿Groene handen gezocht op de NDSM-werf!
Voor NDSM Lusthof van zijn we op zoek naar vrijwilligers die het leuk vinden om samen de tuin te verzorgen. NDSM Lusthof is het hele jaar door van buitenaf te bewonderen en van maart t/m september ook van binnen te ervaren wanneer er in de tuin wordt gewerkt.
Werk je graag in de buitenlucht en voel je je verbonden met de werf? En wil je één of twee keer per week, onder begeleiding van tuinvrouw Maryam, een paar uurtjes buiten aan de slag? Samen maken we de Lusthof zomerklaar én houden we deze bijzondere plek in bloei voor bezoekers.

🌿 Green fingers wanted at NDSM!
For NDSM Lusthof by , we are looking for volunteers who would enjoy helping to care for the garden together. NDSM Lusthof can be admired from the outside all year round and, from March to September, can also be experienced from within while gardening work is taking place.
Do you enjoy working outdoors and feel connected to the wharf? And would you like to spend a few hours outside once or twice a week, under the guidance of gardener Maryam? Together we’ll prepare the Lusthof for summer and keep this special place in bloom for visitors.
