‘Berkelblok’ is our design for a striking corner building with social housing, for housing corporation Woonstad Rotterdam.

Due to the rational design, a very diverse residential program with quality apartments can still be realized on the spatially limited plot, at low construction costs. The main entrance is located next to a generous entrance gate that provides access to the courtyard. All outdoor spaces are located on the sunlit outside. In the facade, the vertical rhythm of the loggias is further accentuated by the tall dormer windows on the roof.
