Looking forward to turning 70 and still being in good health?
A recently published article in Nature titled “Optimal dietary patterns for healthy aging” confirms that a diet rich in plant-based foods is key to longevity. The authors report that higher intakes of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, legumes, unsaturated fats, and low-fat dairy products increase the chances of avoiding chronic diseases. Naturally, reducing the intake of processed foods, trans fats, sodium, sugar, and red meat is essential!
The study also highlights that including berries in your diet benefits cognitive function and may help delay neurodegeneration.

Congratulations to the authors on this impressive and impactful work!
It’s inspiring to see high-quality research that supports our approach from a different angle.

At NatInLab, we are conducting in-depth research into the molecular mechanisms by which diet and specific nutrients influence the formation and progression of beta-amyloid plaques and tau tangles—two key pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions. Our goal is to better understand how nutritional interventions might contribute to prevention or treatment strategies.
We look forward to sharing more details soon. 🙂
