We empowered our young girls through:

βœ… Digital Empowerment & Leadership: Bridged the digital gender gap and inspired girls to lead and innovate.
βœ… Crisis Leadership & Climate Action: Supported girls on the frontlines of crises, building resilience and leadership skills.
βœ… Support for Education: Created awareness on the importance of education for the girl child.
βœ… GBV Awareness: Educated girls on types of Gender-Based Violence, identifying perpetrators, and encouraging reporting.
Together, we are nurturing the leaders of tomorrow! πŸ’ͺπŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“

Following a heavy downpour that struck residents of Shagari Low Cost, Sabon Pegi, and Modire Yolde in Yola on July 27, 2025, Jen Initiative for Integrity and Development (JIID), in collaboration with the Adamawa State WASH Sector and other partners, responded to the flood incident. On July 29, 2025, JIID, in partnership with IBI Foundation, the State Ministry of Health, the Risk Communication Unit, and additional stakeholders, organized a series of interventions. These included water chlorination activities, fumigation exercises, and hygiene promotion campaigns. The efforts targeted the temporary IDP camp located at Aliyu Musdafa College in Yola South, as well as the affected host communities in Shagari Yola South, Adamawa State, aiming to mitigate the health and sanitation risks posed by the flooding.
