BAYELSA ASSEMBLY POLL: APC CANDIDATE HON KIA NIGERIA BUILDS POLITICAL BRIDGE WITH HON IYENIMI SLING

The Southern Ijaw Constituency 111 flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly election, Hon Kia Ebidoughabofa Nigeria, has intensified grassroots engagement ahead of the forthcoming poll by building political bridge with Hon Iyenimi Sling alongside Team Risk Free.

The meeting, which took place at Hon Iyenimi's residence in Yenagoa, brought together political stakeholders and members of both political structures as part of efforts to strengthen coordination and consolidate support across Southern Ijaw Constituency III.

Speaking during the engagement, Hon Kia Nigeria commended Hon. Iyenimi Sling and his political team for their unity, commitment, and influence within the grassroots political landscape.

He described Hon Iyenimi as a strong grassroots force whose political relevance continues to resonate across the Bomo clan and beyond.

He further emphasized the importance of collaboration and inclusiveness in achieving electoral success, noting that the alliance would further boost the APC’s chances in the constituency, thereby appealing for Team Risk Free support.

In his remarks, Hon Iyenimi Sling reaffirmed his political strength and acceptance within the Bomo Clan.

“God knows why Hon Kia emerged as the flag bearer for the Assembly, and God cannot be questioned,” he stated.

He further assured the APC candidate of the readiness of his political structure, Team Risk Free, to work towards victory in the election.

"If you are ready then Team Risk Free is ready to support and deliver effectively at the grassroots level, he added.

Among those that accompanied Hon Kia was Hon Moses Marlon, Assembly member representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 111, Hon Wisdom Nathan, Former PDP Vice Chairman, Hon Bestman Anki, Councilor Ward 13 SILGA, Taribo Kesiye, RDA Chairman Bomo East, Caesar Ogoun, Survey, Kenneth Egberi and among others.

IYENIMI RECEIVES WARM RECEPTION FROM CHURCHILL WILLIAMS

In a significant show of political solidarity, Hon Iyenimi Sling, aspirant for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Southern Ijaw Constituency 3, alongside delegates paid a visit to Sir Churchill Williams, one time Director Cooperate Affairs Commission, present Technical Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor, and a respected elder statesman in Bayelsa politics in Yenagoa.

Chief Godgift Simon Kpoin Odou, spokesman for Iyenimi's team, said the visit aimed to foster unity and seek support.

Churchill Williams expressed appreciation for the gesture, praising Iyenimi as a worthy representative for the Bayelsa Assembly seat, advising Iyenimi to remain focused.

"In politics, when your secret is revealed, it's used against you.

"You're a good man; don't neglect your Bomo people when elected.

"There's nothing God cannot do, he added.
