TOP-PRIVATE SECURITY AND NCDMB EMPOWER 100 YOUTHS THROUGH HIGH-IMPACT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMME
From June 9 to 13, 2025, we successfully hosted a transformative five-day Youth Empowerment Training in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), equipping 100 young participants with high-selling, self-reliance skills in Warri, Delta State.
The training, which took place at our training facility along Odion Road, focused on high-demand vocational skills such as barbing and dreadlocks, makeup artistry, manicure and pedicure. At the close of the programme, every participant was awarded a certificate of completion and received a comprehensive starter pack tailored to their skill area—positioning them to begin their journey toward self-employment and economic independence.
The graduation ceremony, held on Friday, June 13, was a celebration of potential unlocked. Dignitaries and special guests in attendance included our Executive Vice Chairman, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama (Rtd); Mr. Festus Erubore, representing the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Felix Ogbe; Dr. Mrs. Ebere Udeh, Chief Training Development Officer; Tamunotonye Pamela, founder of Eritage Africa; and Rev. JC Okoroji (Jnr), PhD, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Warri.
In his heartfelt address, Commodore Nesioma (Rtd) expressed gratitude to the invited guests and emphasized our organisation’s ongoing commitment to human capacity development. “This initiative is about more than just training—it’s about touching lives, enabling purpose, and affect destinies positively,” he stated.
Participants were further encouraged by Rev. JC Okoroji (Jnr), PhD, who underscored the fact that education is not just about amassing knowledge, but also about acquiring skills which can help you stay self-reliant both in the society and even beyond local borders.
The programme’s practical sessions were led by top industry facilitators: Mrs. Adeyinka Emeka, CEO of Cira Moor Unisex Salon & Spa, and Mrs. Wendy Temple, CEO of WeeBee Beauty. Their expertise and mentorship were invaluable, and top-performing trainees were recognized for their excellence.
For many of the beneficiaries, this was not just a skills programme—it was a defining moment. At Top-Private Security, we are proud to be part of this impactful journey and remain resolute in our mission to empower, transform, and secure the future of our youth.
