For Nigeria to attain sustainable economic development, there is the need to tackle the problem of Unemployment and youth restiveness. In dealing with this problem, it is essential that the government and the organized private sector invest much of its resources on skill development.
This will provide a boost for the ailing small and medium scale enterprise of the economy, and ultimately reduce unemployment.
The Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, and Onuesoke foundation decided to take needed steps for eradicating unemployment, youth restiveness and ultimately, wiping out the prints of poverty from our country.
In view of this, the Petroleum training Institute Skill Development Academy was founded.
The program seeks to foster the growth and development of the Nigerian society by providing a platform for the individual to build on/gain the necessary skills needed by the industry.
The program is open to the general public, there is no academic qualification required. All you need is get the application form, pay for the course fee and get practical training, on your field of interest, that will equip you with the required technical skills. Certification will be awarded by the Petroleum Training Institute on course completion.
