THE LOVE WHICH BLINDED MY EYES

Episode 4

I was fast asleep when I suddenly heard something cold like an ice lying beside me, and I open my eyes to see this godforsaken snæke wrapped around me.

I screamed so loud as if I was drowning in an ocean.

I mean, I shouted while jumping out of the bed.

Surprisingly, after jumping out of the bed, the snæke abruptly vanished as if it were just a dream.

At that moment, I was so scared and disoriented that I couldn't tell if I had seen it in a dream or in a real life.

I was confused.

I couldn't stopped scanning my eyes everywhere in the house to see if the snæke was hiding somewhere.

Then due to that, I took my phone and ran to the living room where I attempted calling my husband, but his number wouldn't connect.

I called him countless time but still abortive, therefore I patiently waited for him to come back.

I was so terrified.

Then, while waiting for him to return, I promptly called my mom that very hour and recounted everything to her.

My mom then advised me to pray, suspecting that it might be an attack from our enemies who's not happy with my progress.

After speaking with my mom, I take a moment to say a brief prayer before beginning my calls with colleagues to ring in the new year.

Meanwhile, I stayed at the living room until he returned a few minutes before four o'clock.

Then upon his return, I recounted everything to him, but he dismissed it and suggested that it was just a bad dream.

He was able to convince me to partially forget about the snæke incident until six months into our marriage, when another event happened that led me to end the marriage.

So, my mother unexpectedly visited our house to pray with me, along with our family friend who came back from theological school.

According to her, she had a terrible dream about me similar to the snæke incident that I had, so she decided to pay me a visit.

I had already informed my husband about her visit before she arrived, but she never told me that she would be accompanied by a pastor.

I was even taken by surprise when she came with this woman pastor, and I offered them something to eat as my husband was not at home.

After my mother had told me about the revelation she had, the woman of God instructed everyone to rise and commenced a prayer.

During the prayer, my phone unexpectedly rang, and it was my husband on the line.

I hastily picked the call to let him know that we were in the middle of praying and that he should exercise patience before we resumed the call, but instead he came down on me, yelling at me and asking what I had turned his house into?

He asked if his house had now become a church with people coming to make noises and disturb the area?

If you don't ask them to leave the house promptly, you'll be shocked by what you'll find. He added and ended the call.

I was shocked.

What could provoked him to react that way ? I pondered.

Then, since I didn't know how to stop them from praying, I quietly joined them again and we continued praying,

But what happened next shocked all of us including the pastor.
