Two weeks gone as Joe had started building his empire, he was busy selling his drugs and also dating Flora, I was happy for him. I couldn't imagine myself living here all along, my hood was now safer than before. Since then, no gangs had really tried to pull a hit on me and I know that they are planning something big.

Vanessa sometimes visited me in my crib, and the news had spread like wildfire that she was mine. Of course, that's precisely what I need. Other gangs had stayed clears instead of becoming enemies, they became friends and paid a homage to me, which includes the -

Jester and Saltwater

And my rivals like the Drew's gang

The Fed

And last, the Hayward.

My second phone rings which I picked it up as someone from the other end voice speak out.

“Hello, Carl; we have an issue?”

“What issue Zack? I'mma not scared of anything that is coming my way.” I asked.

“Yeah, I know what you are capable of, I know but yo got everything in control, but this isn't the time to have to put your butt down, this is the time yo need to rule the forbidden city and take it back to its formal glory.” He said.

“I'm listening!” I said.

“One of my associates is hidden inside a warehouse, I sent him there to lighten our load, but I ain't heard from him for a couple of hours, just checked and took a look-see and bring him home.”

“What I'm not gonna run any s**t for ya, what yo gonna take me for, an errand boy; uh? What about ya boys?”

“That's the main reason I call ya 'lil brvh, just help this old man, those morons out there are strong for my boys to handle, but I have faith that yo gonna pull this hit and make me proud.”

“How many are there?” I questioned.

“I don't really know 'lil brvh, but I think they're gonna be a blast of them lurking around my properties.”

“I'm a one-man Zack, I can't pull the trigger on them on my own” I said as I was much worried.

“Why uhh....., about ya right-hand man, Joe; I heard a lot about this fella, he might help ya out! Zack finally pertained him.

“I don't think so, Joe is here just because of me and to help me in revenging my brother's death.”

“I know but also what Joe is trying to do, building an empire in here, just try to convince him and the load ya gonna pull out there is full of s**t Joe gonna likes, tell him man just do this thing for me Carl, I'll send the address.” He finally says and hung up.

I sat down on the sofa and drinking from a bottle as I then placed it on the table. My mind was occupied if he gonna agreed with me to pull that hits when Joe barged inside from the bathroom, he has already taken a shower and water was dripping from his body. He looked at me for a while, taking my drink as he helped himself.

“What's wrong, dude; why the long face?” He asked and scoffed.

“Zack called, and he got something for us!”

“Like what, I hope, isn't 'bout running some errands for someone.”

“No, but it gonna be fun, and he'd said that he had some present for ya, gonna take much as you like!”

“Well, if that is the case; That's good Carl 'cause between here and gettin' your city back there's gonna be plenty of shootin'.”

“Hillbilly; jump in! We gotta get outta here!.” I said as we all gathered the weapons and headed to the warehouse that Zack sent to me.
