STOP THAT VOICE NOW! 2

" Now Eliab his Oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab's anger was aroused against David, and he said, " why did you come down here ? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and insolence of your heart,for you have come down to see the battle. 1 Sam 17:28 (NKJV)

The second Voice that spoke against David and still speaking against us is ;

2) THE VOICE OF ELIAB: Who was Eliab? He was the oldest brother of David, that is to say he was the elder brother of David. The voice of Eliab is very powerful and has destroyed many destinities, it is a voice that comes with anger because he believes no one else is better qualify than himself, is a voice that tries to limit rising stars, rising anointings,rising graces and rising giftings by trying to remind them that you've just come to this church, this office , to this ministry, so wait for your time.It is a voice that believes because they cross 10 rivers to get to where they are , you too must cross 10 rivers but they forgot to remember that there is a God that gives a man speed, I speak to you today every voice of Eliab trying to stop your progress in the name of Jesus recieve speed to over pass this limitation in Jesus name.There are so many elder brothers in offices, pastoral ministry, business , these are people that have gone ahead of you in these areas of life, while we salute their sacrifices and pay respect to them, we should understand that we must not allowed envy and selfishness from their end to limit what God is about to do in you and through you . The second thing about the voice of Eliab is the voice that reminds you about your position " to whom did you leave those few sheep with" he was reminding David about his position as the last child and by extension you are not supposed to be here, this place is not meant for you, are there no times in your life that you have been told this Job is not meant for you, this contract is not meant for you, this course is not meant for women, this elective position is not meant for you because you are not an indigene, these are the voices of Eliab,but i speak to your life, i silent those voices now! In the name of Jesus.
Pick up your bible and begin to silent those voices now , enough is enough, stop that voice now!

Prayer Point: My father!, My Maker! every voice of Eliab speaking against my life, my ministry,my children,my spouse as i pray i silent them now! In the name of Jesus.I make demand for speed to overtake every blockage caused by the voice of Eliab in my life in Jesus name.

Nuggets: One with God is majority.No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

STOP THAT VOICE NOW!

" Then as he talked with them, there was the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, coming up from the armies of the philistines and he spoke according to the same words.So David heard them. 1 Sam 17: 23 ( NKJV)

Life is full of voices and men are in sizes.What you listen to can either make you or mar you.So many had committed su***de by just listening to a voice tell them" kill yourself, what are you living for" some become depressd because the voice of depression had overtaken their system and rule over them.
The anchor verse for today devotional gives us insight about David and the voice of Goliath, the bible said the Gaint came out in his usual way and boasted again and dispatch fear to the camp of Isreal but this time it was different because he meet his waterloo, David was present and the bible said " So David heard them".Beloved what are you hearing? Stop that voice now!.What did David hear?. There were four things;

1) THE VOICE OF GOLIATH : This was the voice of the Gaint, very intimidating and frightening and has dispatch fear for almost 40 days.It kept God's people in bo***ge and captivity and they were constantly hiding.Friends, the voice of Goliath is still holding many believers captive, any time you want to make a great and positive strides in life , you hear the voice telling you, it won't work, reminding you about your previous failures, past mistakes and errors and tries to put you down is the voice of Goliath, the voice of gaint,but today i release upon you the voice of God, the spirit of power and of sound mind, to face and rebuke that voice, scriptures says " rebuke the devil and he shall flee".Stop lamenting over the voice of Goliath and arise as a child of God and rebuke that voice now! Remember you can't stop a bird from flying over your head but you can stop it from building a nest on your head.Stop the voice of Goliath from building nest on your life and spiritual disposition.David did, you can do it, stop that voice now!

Prayer Point: Father! every voice of Goliath in my life, destiny, and family that has been releasing fear and intimidation in my life and family,Today by the word of Lord,I rebuke you Now! in the name of Jesus.I recover my boldness, my self esteem and my place in Jesus name.

ATTACK IT NOW! 2

" For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind . 2 Tim 1:7 (NKJV)

As we continue, on the 3 kinds of fear, God by his mercies will help us understand how to deal with the second kind of fear.

2) THE FEAR OF IGNORANCE: This kind of fear comes as a result of not knowing what to do.It is the fear of ignorance, nobody was born with complete knowledge, people developed themselves to that level where they become reference point or consultant.The ability of not knowing what to do places you always at the recieving end, everybody wants to experiment guidance and counselling with your life, because whenever you don't know what to do in life, people will tell you what to do, in the same manner, if you don't take action with your life, men will take action on your behalf. This can be liken to the fear of the Unknow.
The chinese proverb said, " You can only be a fool or Ignorant for just 2 mins, once you ask questions and you know, you can't be ignorant anymore.Those who ask questions never miss their way, i pray for you today, that you won't miss your way as a result of Ignorance in Jesus name.It is Ignorance that breeds incompetent and incompetency give birth to lack of confidence. You can never be CONFIDENCE until you are COMPETENT. The fear of ignorance strives best in lack of confidence.The enemy knows this secret and uses it against God's people, he tells you how much less confidence you are, how less confidence you are to be trusted with great jobs at work and he demoralizes your self confidence so that you will loose your self competent, but today marks the end, the last time he tries it is the last forever in Jesus name.

HOW TO ATTACK THIS FEAR: guard yourself with knowledge, bible says buy the truth and sell it not, why because you will need it all the days of your life.If you sell it you will surely run out of supply in the days of adversity.Secondly Ask questions, never keep mute, ask questions on how to do this, or that, never keep silence, ask questions and ask the right people, when you ask the wrong people,they give you the wrong answer and when this answer fails it will only worsen your condition and increase your fear of Ignorance once more.Every answer you need is in the Holy bible, hence Paul advises young Timothy, to study it and get knowledge to fight the fear of Ignorance. Attack it Now with God's word.

Prayer Point: Oh Lord, every fear of Ignorance, fear of not knowing what to do per time, fear of lack of confidence, today in the name of Jesus, I cut off from such fear in my life, i overcome by the blood of Jesus and by the word of the Lord.I declare i am bold, like the lion and I am confident like the early morning Sun in Jesus name

THE WAY OF BALAAM 2

"Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of Unrighteousness.2 Peter 2:15(KJV)

One major question, that we should answer is Who is Balaam?. Balaam is a prophet, the son of Beor, he was another privileged Midianite who was greatly anointed of God.He had risen up to be a prophet as early as the time the Children of Isreal were just returning from the land of their Captivity.He was highly honoured and revered among the Midianites as one whose words bore so much weight.
Balaam went in the way of greed to the extent that he compelled God to grant him permission to go on a trip that He had expressly warned him against.The way of Balaam is the way of Greed and discontentment.It leads to Merchandise of the truth or the gospel.We live in an age where the truth is scarce and in short supply.People make merchandise of the truth like Balaam, they prefer to tell the people what they want to hear than what God want them to do.They are men pleasers instead of God pleasers.I rather please God than Please men, oh lord help me.How to know when a man is heading towards the way of balaam; two things are key
1) Unending love for the wages of unrighteousness.whenever your love for God decreases and your love the wages for Unrighteousness increases, be careful,this is the way of Balaam.When a man wants to get rich at all cost even at the expense of his salvation then the way of balaam is close by.When a lady can go the extramile just to hook a man for marriage is the way of balaam.The wages of unrighteousness means what you and I stand to gain from sinful negotiations.It may look great at first but surely it aftermath is far reaching and may extend to generations.For instance, Balaam is long gone but Peter was still making reference to him and his ways.
2) It makes a Man Mad.Madness here refer to loosing control, a man that is full of himself and can't listen to spiritual advise and had lost Spiritual Covering and Control.There are people that saw a few millions of Naira and they lost control, they talked to elders with impunity, they threw respect and caution to the wind, they felt everyone should bow to them, there are men whose graces and anointing were of great blessings to their world and generation but suddenly, they become mad and went whirl with the anointing and began to misbehave.Friends, never allow the disesase of balaam to infect you, never go mad, never allow what God is accomplishing through you to make you go mad learn from Jesus and his ways- a humble man even death to the cross.
To follow the way of Balaam is to go astray and to be caught in the net of wickedness because of temporary gain.That way makes a man mad.It blocks his ears and blinds his eyes as well as his sense of Judgement.It corrupts his heart and makes the permissive will of God the first eager choice of such a man.The way of balaam is the way of destruction, there is a way that looks right in a man's way - this is the way of balaam, the end is destruction waiting for such a person.Please flee from the way of Balaam.

Prayer Point: Lord! Please help me not to go the way of balaam even if the world mount pressure on me.l will follow the way of the Lord.

Nugget: The World will remember you for the problems you caused or the Solution you gave to these problems.

THREATNED BY UNITY 2

" Come let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech". Gen 11: 7 (KJV)

The power of Unity is second to none.Any persons or group of person that engages this power is bound to succeed and nothing can stop them.The simplest way to destroy a man or his family is to attack his unity strength.It takes a United enemy to destroy a United friend.This means if unity must be attacked it must be attacked by another group of Unity.For instance, a group of persons United in their meetings( e.g university management) agreed to increase the student school fees without any tangible reason(s), this singular action will affect the entire students, if the students must be heard or fight back it must be done via unity, if each student began to complain at the student affairs center, VC office and other places, it won't hold waters but if the students come together and be united and move in their tens of hundreds to the VC office, student affairs,Streets, i tell you the truth, that same day the matter will be given serious attention,because the media will magnify it and many will lend their voice(s). That is what unity can do.It takes Unity to fight Unity. The people were United and they were achieving their target and God himself, not His Angels was threatned by their Unity.There are two group of Unity here i liked to draw your attention- " Come let us make bricks and bake"(Gen 11:3) and " Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language"( Gen 11: 7) this was the second group of unity- the God group speaking.Note in the second group the letter "C" is in caps while in the first group is just "c" and in the second group the word "Us" the U is in caps while in the first group the "us" is not in caps, that means the caps group signifies divinity, a more superior group and a powerful group.Recalled, in Gen 1:26 " Let Us make man in Our image according to our likeness" which means man got a little quantity of this Unity from his maker and secondly anytime God wants to stamp his signature on earth and do something tangible on earth, he does that via Unity.When he made man,he did via Unity and when he scatter man he did via Unity, the trinity must agreed before anything is done on man on earth.The implications of this are;
1) The ticket or passport to get heaven's attention as a man,a family, a ministry is Unity.If you strengthen your Unity then heaven have no choice than to give you attention.
2) God is greatly moved and unrest when you stand steady in Unity in demand for something from Him.How long have you been praying for that problem? How long has that issue persisted and had defiled laying of hands, prophesy and etc.Try Unity, if you are a couple , hold your hands in agreement now and begin to pray for that pains,trouble,stress,challenged,do this for 30mins everyday and watch God moved by your unity and shows up to answer you and the glory returned to Him .Make every effort to guide and settled any differences you have with your spouse or praying partner.Once this is done,then return back to the drawing board- the prayer board and draw out your testimonies via Unity.

Prayer Point: Father! Every spirit of disunity in my life, fighting me,my family,my spouse today by the blood of Jesus i rebuked them and take hold of my life,family, spouse,children,ministry through the power of unity in Jesus Name.Amen
