YESTERDAY 28 AUGUST 2022.
ETI-ORO 1ST IN COUNCIL ORO STUDENTS'UNION AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY (AKSU ) HRM. LION CLETUS OKON JOINED THE LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL, DISTRICT 404A2 NIGERIA IN HER REGION 7 THANKSGIVING SERVICE & INUAGURAL REGION 7 MEETING AT EKET LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The Eti Oro 1st in council of the Oro Students Union (OSU) Akwa Ibom State University Chapter, HRM. LION OFFONG (HON) CLETUS OKON graced the thanksgiving service and inaugural meeting of the Lions Club Int'l, Region 7 yesterday 28th August 2022.

The event was graced by many personalties, the past and present District Governors, past and present RCP, Senior Lions, Club Presidents, Lions and Leos of District 404A2 Nigeria. The Royal fathers, the paramount ruler of Eket Local government, HRM. OBONG. E.C.D ABIA, the paramount ruler of Onna local government, HRM. EDIDEM RAYMOND TIMOTHY INYANG, FCA and the paramount ruler of Oron local government, HRM. OFFONG ODIONG AKAN.

The region chairperson, who is also the wife of the paramount ruler of Eket, HRM. LION OBONGAWAN MANDU ABIA was inuagurated into the office as the Region 7 Chairperson to begin her functions. The thanksgiving service was at the Living Fire Gospel Ministries Int'l at 7 Primary school road, Idua, Eket while the inaugural meeting happened at Atan Villa Hall, HRM's Royal Court opposite Eket Local Government Secretariat, Eket.
The event was all filled with smiles and it was a successful one.
