synopsis:

In a small town where everyone knows everyone, Adire, a young woman with a mysterious past, tries to start a new life. But when she opens a lingerie shop and begins selling her signature adire lingerie, she faces unexpected opposition from the conservative, religious community. The deaconess Folasade, who is married to the local preacher, leads the charge against Adire, but Adire finds unlikely allies in the most unexpected places.
