Merry Christmas from Albert Initiatives for Development (AID)

OPERATION FEED OKOBO: A RESOUNDING SUCCESS

Yesterday, Monday, 22nd December 2025, the spirit of Christmas came alive in Okobo Local Government Area as the philanthropic train of Chief Engr. Albert Asuquo, through the Albert Initiative for Development (AID), rolled into the heart of the community for a Mega Christmas Outreach held at Community Secondary School, Urue Ita, Okobo LGA.

Inspired by the people-centred leadership of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, who led the pace by ensuring that Christmas warmth gets to every home in Akwa lbom State through his donation of Christmas packages to all villages in the State and in alignment with the ARISE Agenda, this intervention was designed to ease the burdens of families, support farmers, and ensure that the joy of the yuletide season reached every home.

The outreach witnessed the orderly distribution of essential food items like 1,200 bags of Rice, Over 50 100kgs bags of Garri, 120pcs of Knapsack Sprayers for farmers, 120pcs of rubbers for widows, 400 bags of salt, 300 packs of seasonings and support materials to residents across Okobo LGA, reinforcing the values of compassion, inclusiveness, and shared prosperity that define both the ARISE Agenda and the vision of Albert Initiative for Development.

Community leaders, traditional rulers, women, youths, and beneficiaries turned out in large numbers, expressing heartfelt gratitude for a programme that went beyond charity to restore dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging during this festive season.

Speaking at the event, Chief Engr. Albert Asuquo reiterated that true leadership is measured not by position, but by impact, adding that the initiative is his modest way of complementing the Governor’s strides in taking governance and relief directly to the grassroots and he is doing this devoid of any political ambition but it's borne out of the genuine love he has for his people.

Operation Feed Okobo stands as a testament that when love leads and service comes first, communities are strengthened and lives are touched.

Indeed, Chief Engr. Albert love his people and his people loves him. The joy on their faces says it all.

ENGR. ALBERT ASUQUO HONOURED WITH AN AWARD OF EXCELLENCE BY THE RIVERS STATE POLICE COMMAND

The Albert Initiative for Development proudly celebrates our Founder and Principal, Engr. Albert Asuquo, who was honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, PSC, MNIps, FCIArb, during the 6th Edition Interactive Dinner with the Commissioner of Police and other Service Commanders in Rivers State and beyond, held on 1st November 2025.

The prestigious event had in attendance eminent personalities including AIG Johnson Oluwole Adenola, PSC, AMB Bosinde Araikpe, DCP Samuel Etaifo Erale, and several heads of services and commands.

The interactive session was highly enlightening, focusing on strengthening community relations and promoting awareness of security matters.

This recognition stands as a testament to Engr. Albert’s commitment to positive engagement, community partnership, and public service; values deeply rooted in the mission of the Albert Initiative for Development.

We extend heartfelt appreciation to the Nigeria Police Force, Rivers State Command, for recognizing excellence and fostering collaboration between the Force and the public.
