Day Two: Refining Products and Protecting Ideas
Day two focused on the fundamentals of product/business development and Intellectual Property rights. Participants had the privilege of having in-depth teachings in Product/ Business Development as well as Intellectual property rights. Following that, a robust PRACTICAL SESSION Food Processing was organised in the afternoon. Participants were taught how to make:
Banana/plantain flour
Fofo flour
Beans flour
Soya beans powder
Mixed cereals flour etc.
Day Three: Quality Assurance and Compliance

Day 1: Laying the Foundation
The first day commenced with Arrival and Registration of the participants, followed by the introduction of the curriculum for startups. This session was led by the organisers of the summit, and its objectives were to provide a deep dive in the entrepreneurship world. Attendees received a comprehensive overview of the Technology Incubation Programme in Nigeria and its strategic partnership with Akwa Ibom Youths and Women Entrepreneurs Summit 2025 (AYWES). The focus was to highlight the importance of Technology incubation programmes for the empowerment of youth. Participants also gained a better understanding of Entrepreneurship Development. The afternoon was dedicated to a practical session focusing on the production of fruit juice, providing hands-on experience for the budding entrepreneurs.
