Why you’re Not Getting Hired for Tech Jobs.

Tech jobs is not all about certifications and a degree in computer science or technology. Getting hired is beyond certifications. This doesn’t mean that certifications are not cool. Getting certified with hand-on experience is a GIG.
There are few things to consider.
1. Gain Experience
Getting hands-on experience is not negotiable in this industry. It is invaluable. Look out for opportunities and apply what you’ve learned over a period of time in real situations. Hands-on experience can be gotten by building things. From beginners to mid-level to senior level projects is a good start.

2. Get a Niche
Build by following a set of niche so you gain mastery of that area. This doesn’t mean you have to stick to that niche. Variety is the spice of life.

3. Build a Brand
Your personal brand sets you apart, use social media to showcase your skills, talents, ideas and passion.

4. Involve in Community building and voluntary works.
Community building is one way to network, sell out and all gain connections.

5. Pursue a Certification
Yes! I mean to say yes, pursue relevant certifications, and remember they are just a small fragment of you getting hired but this can also give you an edge over others when you also have hands-on experience.

6. Demonstrate a clear Path
Be focus and specify what you want, your CV and learning skill should demonstrate a clear path of what you’re doing. Avoid putting up thousands of skills that you have. Let there be a focus relating to your goal and the job you’re looking for.
