An event coordinator should have the following skills;

Ccommunication & Interpersonal skills: An Event Coordinator should be able to converse with clients and team members which includes all other vendors.

Pass appropriate information to vendors regarding the event and should do so nicely. Also, must be smart, and pays close attention to details. (No be wa wa wa kind of person). Must be bold and smart.

Must have organizational skills: An event coordinator is one who is well organized. That is to say one who is able to keep to time, knowing when to do something, when to be at a particular place at the right time, what to do at a particular time and it goes on and on like that, being able to keep to time also.

One has to be organized in other to fit in as an event coordinator else you'll ruin people's events.

As an event coordinator, your passion for the job is what differentiates you from others. You know when you have zeal for something and you are willing and ever ready to get to work simply because you love what you do? That's how passionate an event Cordinator should be.
