The girls in Mechanical Engineering, GiMechE Uniport Chapter, today, Wednesday, 25th June 2025, embarked on a secondary school outreach program to commemorate World Engineering Day, which was celebrated on Monday. They visited a secondary school, where they engaged with students through interactive sessions, sharing their experiences and inspiring them to pursue careers in STEM fields. During the outreach, the students were sensitized about the importance of engineering and its impact on society, and souvenirs were shared with them to spark their interest in the field. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiasm and participation of the students.
