COALITION: ADC Supporters Storm Port Harcourt Airport to Welcome Amaechi

Port Harcourt, Nigeria – Supporters of the African Democratic Congress Support Group (ADCSG) thronged the Port Harcourt International Airport in the early hours of Wednesday to welcome the former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

The crowd, comprising loyalists, political associates, and members of the coalition, turned out in large numbers, chanting solidarity songs and displaying banners in honor of Amaechi’s arrival.

The show of support signals ongoing political momentum within the state and underscores Amaechi's enduring influence in Rivers’ political landscape.

It was indeed a remarkable day as His Excellency, Rt Hon. Emeka Ihedioha met with the state critical leaders of Rebuild Imo Movement, informing them of his joining African Democratic Congress (ADC) party. He declared that; ADC is now his party and his new found party is for all, urging the leaders to double their efforts in sensitizing and mobilizing at their various wards and chapters to strengthen the party as a true grassroot and people-based political party.

The meeting which took place on the 3rd July, 2025, at his Owerri residence attracted critical leaders of Rebuild Imo Movement across the 27 LGAs in Imo State.

Ezinihitte Mbaise Rebuild Imo Movement led by Hon. Rtn Chijioke Modestus Njoku (CJ) was fully represented at the meeting.
