Some years back during my undergraduate days, I got involved in student politics and was privileged to become the first elected departmental President of National Association of Fisheries Students (Futo chapter).

Few days ago, I got into a chat with someone who introduced himself as the current Present, NAFIS Futo chapter and the intention of honouring my foundational achievements of the association.

This award which was meant to be on the 16th of October, 2024 but was faced with some challenges. But today 23rd October, 2024, I am privileged to be honoured with an award as the Pioneer President Of National Association of Fisheries Students, Futo Chapter.

All glory goes to God for this great feet achieved. Grateful to the Head of Department, team of lecturers, President and executive members of NAFIS, Futo chapter.

This is in recognition of a work well done.

We keep pushing.

It is my dearest prayer, that all your labour to impact the life of others will be remembered and will be honoured with great congratulations.

To God be the Glory, great things He has done.

Members of the 10th administration and myself give all thanks and glory to God Almighty for His enabling grace and privilege to be among the few elected and chosen to lead the fellowship for this next three years.

We appreciate His Lordship Rt. Rev Wisdom Budu Ihunwo DSSRS, JP, Bishop of the Diocese of Niger Delta North, the Diocesan AYF Chaplain Ven. Dr. Cyprian Imaekhai, immediate past President Bro Harry O. Adiele and executives of the 9th administration and the entire members of DNDN AYF for finding us worthy to be elected.

We are strengthened by God's word,
Exodus 33:14
"And the Lord replied, “I myself will go with you and give you success.”

Today, as we assumed the role of serving our great fellowship through leadership, we call on all members to join us make this journey of building a fellowship we all will be proud of.

We need your PRAYERS, PRESENCE & SUPPORT as without you there will be no fellowship to lead. We are open to advice and suggestions for effective discharge of duties.

It is our prayer that God will endue us with wisdom, knowledge and understanding and may He bless every member of the Anglican Youth Fellowship, Diocese of Niger Delta North.
