TODAY'S BIBLE READING:1 Corinthians 13
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 13:11 (KJV)
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
TODAY'S TOPIC: GROW INTO MATURITY
There are phases of spiritual development for the believer in Christ. We can use natural things to explain a lot of spiritual truths. For example, in the same way every human is born fully human but still needs to grow into maturity so it is for the recreated human spirit.Just as it is in the natural from childhood to adulthood, so it is spiritually. Spiritually speaking we are told how to identify a child; a child is identified by how he speaks and what he says, his understanding and his level of thinking. If you speak, understand and think like a child then you are still a child; when you become a man you will put away childish things.Spiritual maturity affects speech, understanding and thinking.Remember that everyone who receives Christ starts as a spiritual infant and needs to grow into maturity. No one becomes spiritually mature instantly, spiritual growth is progressive. At the same time, no one is meant to remain a spiritual infant forever. The scripture says “when I became a man”,which means he became spiritual mature. You can also become spiritually mature in Christ.Spiritual development is not for the Pastor,Evangelist or Prophet; it is for every believer in Christ.Give attention to your spiritual development; constantly and deliberately feed yourself with the word of his grace. It will build you up.This is what this devotional is helping you with, constant feeding for continuous development.Faith to Faith Devotional is taking you from childhood to adulthood; even as spiritual adults we don't stop growing.Keep growing in Christ.

TODAY'S BIBLE READING: Mark 6
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Mark 6:2 (AMP)
And on the Sabbath He began to teach in the synagogue; and many who listened to Him were utterly astonished, saying, Where did this Man acquire all this? What is the wisdom [the broad and full intelligence which has been] given to Him? What mighty works and exhibitions of power are wrought by His hands!
TODAY’S TOPIC: MANY SHOULD BE UTTERLY ASTONISHED TODAY
The teachings of Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry left many utterly astonished. They saw him display outstanding wisdom, and also demonstrate supernatural power. The same manifestations are expected in the life of anyone who claims to be a representative of Christ here on earth today. Salvation, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit gives every believer access into the dimension of wisdom and power that was manifested in the life of Jesus Christ. The wisdom of God is at work in you, the same kind of wisdom that left many utterly astonished. At the same time, the miracle working power of God is within your spirit through the Holy Spirit. The same miracle working power that left many astonished. In your personal life, family and career, the wisdom and power of God should be on full display.Every project you handle, every responsibility you are in charge of should exhibit the intelligence and ability of God. It should leave many astonished, as it did in the days of Jesus on earth. If your heart is convinced that the same intelligence and ability is within you, then your actions will always manifest them consciously or unconsciously
TODAY'S CONFESSION
Salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit has given me access to the same kind of wisdom, and power that left many astonished during the earthly ministry of Jesus. My heart is convinced that the intelligence and ability of God that will leave many utterly astonished is within me. It is always glad tidings of good things for me

TODAY'S BIBLE READING: Romans 4
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:Romans 4:8 (KJV)
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin
TODAY'S TOPIC: SIN IS NOT IMPUTED TO YOU
It is quite easy for people to religiously agree that Jesus Christ forgives sins. You might even hear unbelievers say that the God of the Bible forgives sins under certain conditions. However, there is something more than that according to the gospel of Christ. It is really necessary to understand the blessedness of the gospel of Christ. Our scripture today says “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin”.There was a provision made for man not to have his sin counted against him according to the gospel of Christ. The word translated “impute” could also be translated as “number” or “take inventory of”.The scripture can now be read as “blessed is the man whose sins are not numbered”.It will be more clearly understood when it is read this way –Blessed is the man whom the Lord does not take inventory of his wrong doings. This is the aspect of the gospel of Christ the religious folks don't want to hear.Actually this is what makes the gospel good news, that the death, burial and resurrection of Christ has made it possible for man’s sins not to be numbered or counted against him.Sometimes you still count how many times you didn't get it right, but the good news is that God is not keeping score of your wrongs.Your sins were not just forgiven, they are not counted against you.Sin is not and will never be imputed to you, because righteousness has already been imputed. This is the blessing of the gospel of Christ
TODAY'S CONFESSION.
The death, burial and resurrection of Christ is everything to me.My sins are forgiven.God is not taking inventory of my wrong doings.God is not keeping score of my faults.
