For this concept, I crafted a premium skincare flyer for Veloura Skincare, centered around their Vitamin C Glow Serum —a product that speaks elegance, radiance, and confidence.

The goal?
To create a design that doesn’t just look good… but feels expensive at first glance.

From the soft beige tones to the subtle gold accents, every element was intentionally placed to communicate:

Here's how it works:

1. Divide your design canvas into a 3×3 grid (9 equal rectangles)

2. Place your most important visual elements at the 4 INTERSECTION POINTS of this grid — not in the centre

3. Use the grid lines themselves to align secondary elements

Why it works: Our eyes naturally travel to these intersection points first. When your key design elements sit there, the composition feels balanced and intentional — even to someone who knows nothing about design.

Where most people go wrong: They centre EVERYTHING. Centred layouts feel static and generic. The rule of thirds creates dynamic tension that makes designs more engaging.
