Surround yourself with people who make you believe in a bigger version of yourself.

Where you learn to talk smaller, dream quieter, and edit yourself before you even open your mouth.

You don’t even notice it’s happening at first. You just start feeling heavy. Like something’s off but you can’t name it.

Then you meet someone who doesn’t flinch when you tell them what you’re building.

Someone who asks follow-up questions instead of changing the subject. Someone who’s genuinely rooting for you, not just tolerating your drive while secretly considering you a f00l.

That difference is everything.

The people around you aren’t neutral. They’re either pulling your ceiling higher or quietly pushing it down.

There’s no in-between.

And that’s why you’re allowed to outgrow people. You’re allowed to protect your vision from people who’ve made peace with settling.

You’re allowed to choose a circle that matches where you’re going, not just where you’ve been.

A few years ago, I had to cut off one of my closest friends. It was a tough decision and weighed on me for a while.

Your environment is always working on you. The question is whether it’s working for you or against you.

Choose your people like your future depends on it.

Because honestly, it does.
