IKWESIRI was written in a mix of Igbo and English, two of the widely accepted languages in Nigeria. It was the first song the Holy Spirit gave to me in 2010.

THE INSPIRATION BEHIND IKWESIRI

The inspiration behind IKWESIRI came from reflecting on the assassination of my Father in December 2006 when he was almost killed by a group of men in Akpajo/Eleme. As I thought about it, the only phrase that came to mind was 'IKWESIRI OYE NTUKWASI OBI'."
