The journey has started

BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF CHICKS

The following should be take in place a week before arrival of day old chicks
*Ensure that no remnant of litter are seen in and around the brooder house
*Place the equipment for brooding inside a room after cleaning
*Disinfect equipment for brooding by dipping in disinfected solution
*Ensure you disinfected inside and outside the brooding house till a day before the chick arrive
*Ensure necessary arrangements for heating the brooding for normal temperature
*Ensure you have Thermometer and weighing scale
*Spread the wood shaving and cover it with old new paper for 1 to 3 days, Rice hull/Rice brown can be used to replace wood shaving
