"Though we strive for excellence, we are still human and prone to mistakes," the JAMB Registrar said emotionally, shedding tears as he acknowledged errors in the 2025 UTME and issued a heartfelt apology to affected students.

He further announced that make-up examinations will be conducted for 379,997 candidates across the five South-East states and Lagos. Details for the rescheduled exams will be sent to candidates via text starting May 15.
